without any sleep, i went to Zion serangoon in an attempt to know God more. this reminds me of Charity in Driven By Eternity. its calming to know that i have the right intentions. Out of wanting to be closer to the pulpit i sat right in front of the horizontal aisle and someone suddenly said hey. i turned and it was an old man. i was hesitant at first because i dont usually communicate with people that old. nevertheless i introduced myself. i learned that his name was David and he went on to give me a namecard. i then realised that he was a Reverend! i was shocked because i have never been this close to anyone who has taken the pulpit. I seriously am in luck, I thought! Someone knowledgeable and so experienced can teach me more about God now! he looked to be in his 80s with his white hair. but i think he's just 75 because he looks healthy and has vitality.
i felt really blessed instantly. a friendly pastor huh? so he went on to tell me about his life experiences and Gods miraculous providence. I wish i had gone to service early! i was there at 9:01am so before we could talk more the service started. later that day he sent me his ebook and ive been reading it since Sunday. Im really blessed. i really enjoy reading his ebook. he is so accomplished. reverend and an author and looks to be in good health. oh and he sings well too. i heard him. its written in his ebook that he sang during evangelism too.
service next Sunday will be awesome.
im going to two churches. i cant wait. i am so fain. Zion to meet David and fellowship w other middle aged people over free food and drinks that are served at the lobby after service and my old church Hogc to meet Amelia Choo. Amelia is growing so much, I'm happy for her. :)
thank you God Jesus for allowing Reverend David to reach out to me. i have been blessed and I now love reading. i revived my Kindle today. love it so much. I hope God grows me in maturity, patience and so much more. cant wait to see Gods work in me and my life. Amen.
